Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Biller 
Medical Biller –?Full-time, remote within Tucson, $17-$20 per hour, 40 hours per week. Work a flexible schedule! 

Required Qualifications of the Medical Biller 
- 2+ years of recent medical billing experience required 
- CMS-1500 claim processing experience highly preferred  
- Must reside in Tucson
- High school diploma or GED required 
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen 

Responsibilities of the Medical Biller 
- Submit electronic CMS-1500 claims 
- Review and scrub claims prior to submission 
- Update patient financial information and account data 
- Process remittances and Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) 
- Post medical payments and account transactions 
- Research and resolve claim denials 
- Prepare and submit appeals when appropriate 
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation 
- Attend quarterly in-person meetings
