Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant 
Medical Assistant – Full-time, onsite, $22-$24 per hour, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm. Join a fast-paced office with opportunities for growth! 

Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant 
- 1+ years of recent medical assistant experience required 
- 2+ years of recent medical assistant experience preferred 
- Recent cardiology experience preferred 
- Medical Assistant diploma or certification required 
- High school diploma or GED required 
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen 

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant 
- Room patients and record vitals 
- Perform EKGs and help with tests 
- Prep patients for providers 
- Handle injections, blood draws, and lab sample collections 
- Help providers with procedures 
- Collect patient information and enter into EMR system  
- Schedule/reschedule appointments and procedures 
- Handle prior authorizations 
- Maintain clinic equipment and cleanliness
