Compensation and Schedule for the Clinical Laboratory Tech 
Clinical Laboratory Tech – Full-time, onsite, $32-$35 per hour, Tuesday and Friday, 7:00am to 5:30pm, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. Join a growing company!  

Required Qualifications of the Clinical Laboratory Tech 
- 1+ years of recent MLT laboratory tech experience required 
- MLT from ASCP or CLT from NCA required 
- Associate degree required 
- High school diploma or GED required 
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen 

Responsibilities of the Clinical Laboratory Tech 
- Analyze specimens according to section procedures and policies  
- Ensure the appropriateness of the sample and confirm unusual results  
- Review and report all results according to laboratory policy  
- Perform and document routine laboratory instrument maintenance and environmental conditions 
- Perform and document quality control and QA procedures as required by various licensing agencies and CSV regulations 
- Maintain appropriate records, computer files, logs, and documentation to comply with accreditation regulations 
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of principles, procedures, and clinical significance of laboratory tests performed 
- Help orient and train students and new employees 
- Help maintain an adequate supply of inventory items and unpack supplies when necessary 
- Continuously practice universal precautions 
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines 
- Cover Lead Tech duties as needed
