Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant 
Medical Assistant – Full-time, onsite, $20-$23 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Join a busy medical office with a positive working environment! 

Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant 
- 2+ years of recent medical assistant experience required 
- Cardiology experience highly preferred 
- Specialty experience required 
- Medical Assistant diploma or certification required 
- High school diploma or GED required 
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen 

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant 
- Room patients 
- Perform patient intake and enter information into EMR system 
- Perform blood draws 
- Help provider with procedures and injections 
- Obtain prior authorizations  
- Answer phones 
- Schedule appointments and procedures 
- Perform prescription refills 
- Float between east valley offices when needed
