Compensation and Schedule for the Cardiothoracic/Lung Coder 
Cardiothoracic/Lung Coder – Contract, remote, $33 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm Arizona time zone hours during training. Join a fast-paced and positive work environment! 

Required Qualifications of the Cardiothoracic/Lung Coder 
- 3+ years of recent E/M cardiothoracic and/or lung coding experience required 
- Must work in Arizona time zone hours 
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required 
- High school diploma or GED required  
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen 

Responsibilities of the Cardiothoracic/Lung Coder 
- Assign ICD-10 and CPT codes to medical records and accounts  
- Complete coding for all accounts on a timely basis  
- Follow up on all accounts
