Compensation and Schedule for the Billing Customer Service/Patient Collector
Billing Customer Service/Patient Collector –?Full-time, onsite, $19-$20 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Join a positive work environment!
Required Qualifications of the Billing Customer Service/Patient Collector
- 1+ years of recent healthcare experience required
- Medical billing/collections experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Responsibilities of the Billing Customer Service/Patient Collector
- Handle inbound calls from patients
- Discuss patient claims, EOBs, and deductibles
- Answer patient questions
- Collect payments and gather secondary payor when necessary
