Compensation and Schedule for the Materials Handler
Materials Handler – Full-time, onsite, $22 per hour, weekend shift differentials, Saturday – Sunday, 6:00am to 4:30pm. Join a great team with huge growth opportunities!
Required Qualifications of the Materials Handler
- 3+ years of recent supply chain or materials management experience required
- Valid driver’s license required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen
Job Summary for the Materials Handler
Perform a variety of inventory, supply-stocking, and disbursement functions for all clinical and non-clinical areas to provide the continuous availability of items for efficient department operations.
Responsibilities of the Materials Handler
- Gather, inventory, pack, and deliver inventory items to various on- and off-campus locations
- Maintain current inventory records by decrementing and incrementing items to reflect activity levels to provide continuously available accurate information
- Participate in ongoing cycle counts
- Receive incoming inventory items, place in correct bin and shelf locations, and confirm units of measure and appropriate dispensing units
- Review expiration dates and pull expired items in accordance to established standards of customer service
- Receive supply and equipment calls from departments and coordinate delivery of items to ensure accuracy and timeliness of response in accordance with established standards
