Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant
The Medical Assistant will greet patients, room patients, take basic vitals, enter information into EMR system, prep patients for provider, provides patient education regarding health issues or upcoming surgeries. Will set-up and assist with in office GI procedures.

Will also do FO Receptionist work pertaining to check-in, patient paperwork, insurance verification, collection of co-pays, answering phones, patient call backs, handling med refill requests, ordering labs or outside medical records.

Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant
- 2+ years of recent Medical Assistant experience
- Specialty experience required
- Must have Medical Assistant diploma or certificate
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Compensation and schedule for the Medical Assistant
Medical Assistant – Full-time, $18-$20 per hour, Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm.
