Compensation and Schedule for the Medical Assistant 
Medical Assistant - Orthopedics – Full-time, onsite, $20-$23 per hour, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Join a great team in a productive environment! 

Required Qualifications of the Medical Assistant 
- 2
+ years of recent medical assistant experience required 
- 
Recent orthopedics experience highly preferred 
- 
Casting and splinting experience preferred 
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
- 
Orthopedic Tech certification highly preferred 
- 
Medical Assistant diploma or certification required 
- 
High school diploma or GED required 
- 
Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen 

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant 
- Room patients and take basic vitals  
- Complete patient paperwork and registration procedures
- Verify insurance eligibility and schedule appointments

- Complete prescription refill authorizations and patient callbacks  
- 
Perform casting, splinting, and traction application 
- Help providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments
