Compensation and Schedule for the Clinical Support Coordinator

Required Qualifications of the Clinical Support Coordinator
- 3+ years of recent clinical customer service experience required
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen
Job Summary for the Clinical Support Coordinator
Support account management and clinical support function that ensures all clinical practice customers who utilize neurodiagnostic testing services are highly engaged and satisfied on a consistent basis. Primarily responsible for addressing all case discrepancies and following up with customers in a timely manner to ensure the tests can be completed.
Responsibilities of the Clinical Support Coordinator
- Bring on new clinician customers through standard onboarding procedures including training and education programs and the provision of helpful information on tests
- Establish communication lines with clinician customers including clinical and administrative staff and set goals for the first 90 days of initiation; become an additional point of ongoing contact for clinician customers while ensuring colleagues remain in overall communication
- Help ensure customers follow appropriate skin biopsy protocols with sufficient quality and suggest adjustments and course corrections when needed to establish sound practices early on
- Address all case discrepancies in a timely manner to ensure there are not extreme delays in case turn-around time
- Collaborate with both the clinical account managers and sales executives for clinicians who are difficult to get in contact with
- Establish a regular rhythm of maintaining communications with existing customers and work with other departments to maximize engagement of the entire practice
- Assist in using data to monitor assigned accounts and trigger appropriate actions
- Provide clinicians and patients final reports and updates on benefit verifications/prior authorizations as needed
- Continue to offer clinical support through written and digital resources, case studies, white papers, patient education assets, training modules, and other pieces
- Follow a triage process to address clinical questions and connect customers with Medical Affairs staff when appropriate
- Help maintain customers’ consistent and appropriate use of company’s offerings, minimizing dormancy and inactivity rates
